Carroll Community College Kicks off the Penguin Random House Book Fair with Melanie Benjamin

Spend the evening with The New York Times bestselling author of The Aviator's Wife, The Swans of Fifth Avenue, The Autobiography of Mrs. Tom Thumb, and Alice I Have Been.

Tickets are $25 and include a copy of The Girls in the Picture, a $5 Penguin Random House Book Fair coupon, and access to the event reception.

Bestselling author Melanie Benjamin will talk about her latest book, The Girls in the Picture, which focuses on the friendship and creative partnership between two of Hollywood's earliest female legends—screenwriter Frances Marion and superstar Mary Pickford. The author talk will begin at 7pm followed by a Q&A and book signing. Additional titles by Benjamin will be available for purchase before the event and during the book signing.

Ticketholders are invited to come early for hors d'oeuvres and refreshments starting at 6pm. 

Each attendee will receive a special $5 off coupon to be used Friday or Saturday at the Penguin Random House Book Fair. Come at 6pm and shop in the Babylon Great Hall or use your coupon on Saturday! Attendees will receive coupon at event check in on 3/2.
