Tickets are $60 each and include lunch and copies of both A SINGLE THREAD and MIRACLE CREEK

The last day to purchase tickets will be Sunday, 9/8.

 

ATTENTION: This event will have assigned seating like last year. Parties who wish to sit together should purchase in one transaction. Groups of two or more will be seated together, if at all possible. Tables seat up to 8. Please note this year's event will take place at Martin's Westminster due to McDaniel College renovations. 

 

Day for Book Lovers is presented by Carroll County Public Library & the Friends of CCPL.

The event is proudly supported by A Likely Story Bookstore, Penguin Random House, and Farrar, Straus and Giroux.

 

Day for Book Lovers features a Book Buzz preview of new and upcoming releases directly from the publisher, a deli buffet lunch, and two author talks and book signings. Our Book Buzz will be provided by Brian Nielsen of Penguin Random House. 

 

About the Authors

 

Tracy Chevalier is the New York Times bestselling author of nine previous novels, including GIRL WITH A PEARL EARRING, which has been translated into thirty-nine languages and made into an Oscar-nominated film. Born and raised in Washington, DC, she lives in London with her husband and son. Tracy Chevalier will be interviewed by bestselling author Pam Jenoff.

 

Angie Kim moved from Seoul, South Korea, to the suburbs of Baltimore as a preteen. She attended Harvard Law School and had a successful career as a trial lawyer. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and three sons. MIRACLE CREEK is her first novel. Angie Kim will be interviewed by CCPL Board President Joyce Muller.
