Join us at JeannieBird Baking Company on Main Street in Westminster for fabulous desserts and insights from thought leaders exploring initiatives playing a role in the new economy as we get ready for CCPL's Exploration Commons at 50 East. Tickets are $25. (Includes dessert and one glass of wine.) Thursday, July 12 from 7:00 - 9:00pm.

Our guest speaker will be Eileen Stoner, owner of Stoney Acres. Eileen will share her journey from corporate America to local entrepreneur and will share her expertise on maintaining a modern flower growing operation. Stoner is a specialty cut flower grower and certified floral designer. Her business, Stoney Acres which began in 2005 produces field grown vegetables and cut flower bouquets.The vegetable and cut flower bouquets are offered at the weekly Carroll County Farmers Market and Charlestown Retirement Community during the months of June through September. She also provides flowers to florists, special events, bridal parties, and weddings. Her floral designs have helped over forty brides on their special day. Eileen is a Carroll County Farmers Market Board Member and Maryland Specialty Cut Flower Member. Prior to this endeavor, she served as Vice President Retail Leasing, Jones Lang LaSalle. Her career spanned over 25 years representing Shopping Centers Nationwide, including outlets, National Chains, Department Stores, government and businesses.
